The doctors meet the world's oldest intern. Marcy brings in her son Henry because she finds his change in behavior suspicious. A patient named Connie may lose her vocal chords unless Mark and Richard can perform a radical new surgery. George
impresses the other interns at work but at home he is trying to deal with his guilt about having sex with Izzie.
- You want to talk about it?
- No. Not really. Not yet.
and then reconstruct it with
a strip of flesh from your legs. George?
why your son could be
exhibiting those symptoms.
I tried, but she would not let me.
She wouldn't let me.
So what's the treatment plan?
- Functional muscle transfer.
to have a normal life?
Do you know how to do this?
- I thought you broke that off.
- I meant to.
- I'm not naive.
- You and what's his face.
OK. Well, if you have any questions...
You should have done
everything that you could.
for thinking you're gonna
leave Callie. [scoffs] Seriously?
You have apple hair. I threw a pancake
in the river. A pancake!
- Say it now, Connie.
- Don't be so morbid.
As a matter of fact,
all of your pants are too tight.
Oh, wait, this looks promising.
A nice, thick wire. How's that?
- We got a pulse.
- [Monitor beeping]
She did, did she? And why is that?
Will do, captain.
I think if a person wants
to do something, like die, they do it.
I thought that might interest you,
So I'm doing paperwork, OK?
- Dr. Sloan, I...
- I know.
This is about her and me. I'm ending
a marriage to a wonderful woman.
I was trying to teach her.
Whatever she told you...
- He started talking nonsense...
- [Alex] Pupil's blown.
- Dr. Bailey's right.
- Shut up. I'm not talking to you.
As for Adele, tell her you can't imagine
your life without her.
He, um... never complained.
And he always took his meds.
And I know because I wrote it.
For what it's worth, I was
very fond of your mother. She was...

A patient is in the hospital because they fell asleep in a hazardous situation. A patient's home laboratory blew up in an apartment building and the victims flood the hospital. Alex investigates the cause of the incident by talking to a really old
guy who lived in the building. Jane Burke shows up to deal with what her son left behind. Lexie tries to talk to Meredith. Callie is overwhelmed by her new position while Bailey is searching for things to do.
You and Meredith are up
all night doing the horizontal salsa.
- I'm using it for professional gain.
- You're ready to part with this?
Carnage in the pit. My day's improving.
Marla Kristler, 34-year-old female,
abdomen blown out, skull fracture,
Were you up late last night? You look
tired. Perhaps you should sit this out.
Karev, I'm going into surgery
with the chief. Keep me posted.
You take care of yourself.
No, you are interns.
You are in charge of nothing.
were you trying to smash
the hopes of the best man
When you report back to Cristina,
And sometimes they're not. The kids.
I'm off the market, Mr. Roche.
I'm very happily married.
At least until she's not in such
a bad mood. A week. A month.
just let me say this.
I need this because I have idiots.
You're going down one path,
and all of a sudden then you realize,
What about the dad?
He's still in there.
Unless you put it in my blood pressure
medicine, I've never touched the stuff.
- Probably a drug addict.
- It feels weird?
- No, that lady is staring at me.
OK, she keeps staring at us.
Make her to stop.
It's hard to take back. Which even if
you want to take back, you can't.
His IV came out
and he needs to be hydrated.
It was all over your apartment, OK?
Is it that you don't know what's
going on in my hospital, Dr. Torres,
and I think you're
doing a good job at it.
If you're done with the charts,
go fold something. Like sheets.
When you got injured in the fire,
the shock to your body,
- I have to find a baby.
- Are you OK?
- You can yell, you know.
- Not my job anymore.
Getting in the face
of a drug dealer. Fool!
I just figured, what the heck?
Once won't kill you.
Just, uh, leave it under the mat
when you're done.
- I see.
- You're a strong woman, Cristina.
I was planning on, maybe,
going to see my wife tonight,
I believe the surgery went smoothly.
Your husband was taken by the police
whatever it is
that was getting us high...
His grandmother is coming for him.
I think she's gonna take custody.
